From Friday 27 November 2026 to Friday 1 January 2027; on the first day the market opens at 16:00, with the official opening and Christmas tree lighting at 17:00. Further evening programme is announced for Saturday 28 November from 16:00.

Piešťany's market runs for almost five weeks, through Christmas and into the New Year, so you can pick a quieter evening than the busy early Advent weekends.

The city describes it as a market with gift and food stalls, concerts and family activities. Expect the Advent classics – punch, mulled wine, mead, grilled sausages and sweet pastries; vendors will confirm the exact offer during the market.

The square is close to the spa park and the Colonnade Bridge, so it combines well with an evening stroll.
