Friday 11 December to Sunday 20 December 2026, daily 10:00–20:00. Official opening on Friday 11 December at 10:00; closing on Sunday 20 December at 20:00.

Where

The area in front of the Aréna Poprad multipurpose hall on Uherova street. New this year: the fair is held for the first time outside Námestie sv. Egídia, which is a construction site due to reconstruction.

Admission

The organiser does not state an admission fee; the fair is held in an open area in front of the hall. Food, drinks and goods at vendors' prices.

Why go

This is the 23rd edition of Poprad's traditional Christmas fair, focused on Slovak folk-art and craft products, with food stalls and festive goods.

Sales run from the city's wooden stalls, and the city announces an accompanying cultural programme with folk ensembles and music; the detailed programme has not been published yet.

Because of the new venue, the walk from the railway station is longer than to the square, so allow some extra time.
